PROJECT DESCRIPTION

This 7-week project commenced in July 2018 and was completed in August of the same year. Works consisted of reduced level excavations, installation of below slab drainage & Radon pipework, shuttering, formwork & placement of steel reinforcement to the foundations and ground floor slab.

This section of works culminated in a single concrete pour which is the largest ever carried out in the West of Ireland. Over 1100m3 of concrete was placed in 1 continuous pour involving 2 concrete pumps (with another on-site on standby) and 140 loads of concrete delivered by 35 trucks. The pour rate was 150m3/hour.
