PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This Project commenced in June 2018 and was completed at the end of November 2018. The works were completed and handed over in a 2 phased approach to ensure that airport users were not adversely affected during the construction works as the new.

Full height internal hoardings and dust screens were installed to ensure the segregation of the construction works and airport users.

All floor wall and ceiling finishes were replaced. In external walls, new openings were formed and existing openings were altered to facilitate new full height glazed screens. A full electrical and mechanical fit-out was also completed by resident contractors. New bespoke ceilings were installed to include an oak grid, curved metal and baffle ceiling. A curved feature video wall and brochure racks formed using Formica and Oak lining. Corian/Oak curved pods were installed in various forms throughout the new discovery centre and used for various display areas. The entrance to the existing shop Upgrade works were also completed to the existing structure. New rubber flooring was installed throughout the new centre with new wayfinding signage installed.
