PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project was completed in February 2018 for Aurivo Dairy Ingredients. The works involved the removal of existing mild steel gantries and replacement with stainless steel, removal of wall and floor finishes and replacement with epoxy coatings.

Other works included reconfiguration and upgrading of internal door openings in line with the overall fire safety plan and the installation of new PIR wall paneling to create a control room.

The works were undertaken within a live food processing facility and as such there was a requirement to clearly segregated construction works from the processing area. Fire suppression and mechanical ventilation systems were installed into existing electrical control rooms.

Procedures were in place to enable Aurivo staff members to gain access through the works from time to time at pre-agreed locations. All site staff were inducted to the site with toolbox talks undertaken as the project progressed and site conditions altered.

The works were completed over a 13-week programme in line with the client’s requirements
